A recent paper by ABCDx academic collaborators confirms the value of some of some proprietary biomarkers for early diagnosis of Stroke-Associated Pneumonia (SAP).

Interestingly, this study confirmed that SAP diagnosis by thorax CT and found that the combination of SAA > 25.15 mg/dL and suPAR> 3.14 ng/mL had 80% sensitivity and 95.8% specificity predicting pneumonia.
